The Terrorist Organization YPG/SDF Released 3,000 ISIS Terrorists From Its Prisons
The terrorist organization YPG/SDF, which the United States backs by claiming it is “fighting ISIS,” has released 3,000 ISIS terrorists held in prisons under its control. The Syrian army has launched operations in the region to capture the escaped terrorists.
January 20, 2026Clash Report
In northeastern Syria, it has emerged that the terrorist organization YPG/SDF—marketed by the Washington administration as a “key force in the fight against ISIS”—has carried out a major act of sabotage.
Syrian army and local security sources announced that the terrorist organization, which survives with U.S. support, opened the doors of prisons along the Hasakah–Shaddadi line and released 3,000 ISIS terrorists.
This move has been described as an attempt to halt the advance of the Syrian army by creating a new wave of terrorism in the region.
Control Established In Al-Shaddadi
The Syrian army has fully established military control over the city of Shaddadi and the strategically important prison, from which the terrorist organization YPG/SDF had withdrawn. Units entering the area are conducting extensive operations to neutralize ISIS elements who were released and infiltrated rural areas.
Army sources stated that what happened was not a loss of control but a “breach of responsibility” planned by YPG/SDF, and that all available means have been mobilized to capture the escaped terrorists.
Prison Area In Raqqa Turns Into A Battlefield
Another focal point of the clashes was Raqqa. It was reported that very intense fighting took place between the Syrian army and YPG/SDF elements around the Aktan prison.
It is stated that the terrorist organization is using strategic prisons as a tool of blackmail and releasing ISIS terrorists onto the streets to distract army units. While a curfew has been imposed in the area, the Syrian Ministry of Defense reiterated its call for organization members to surrender.
The Mask Of The U.S. “Fight Against ISIS” Falls
The silence of the U.S. administration— which for years has presented the terrorist organization YPG/SDF to the world as a “legitimate partner in the fight against terrorism”—in the face of the release of 3,000 ISIS members has drawn strong reactions.
The fact that the structure armed by the United States itself released terrorists onto the streets, while U.S. senators issue “sanctions” threats, once again confirms that they are in fact shielding terrorist organizations and that the ISIS threat in the region is being kept alive directly through this mechanism.
