Ceasefire and Integration Deal Collapses

The Syrian government and the SDF terrorist gorup had reached a ceasefire and full integration agreement that included the group’s complete withdrawal from Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, the transfer of public institutions in Hasakah to state authority, centralized control over border crossings and energy resources, and the individual integration of SDF members into Syrian security forces.

However, the SDF’s refusal to hand over prisons it controls was described by Syrian sources as a direct violation of the agreement. As a result, clashes escalated and Syrian army units began advancing toward Hasakah.
