The Sudanese army, supported by joint forces and allied units, has widened its operational theater across Kordofan. According to military sources, the main push is now directed at the strategic town of Bara, a key gathering point just south of El-Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan.

This move follows the redeployment of troops from southern Omdurman after the partial recovery of Khartoum earlier this year.

In parallel with the Bara advance, Sudanese army commanders have reportedly finalized preparations to liberate the city of Dilling in South Kordofan. The operation aims to break a two-year RSF siege by merging with the “Hunter’s Mobile Force,” a rapid deployment unit now positioned to encircle the city.

Commanders have framed this as a key step in regaining full control over the region and restoring road access between northern and southern Kordofan.

Strategic Target: En-Nahud Next

Field reports also indicate that Sudanese forces have recaptured several villages around Dilling and are preparing a new axis of advance toward the city of En-Nahud. Control of En-Nahud would grant the military further leverage across West Kordofan, opening routes westward and putting pressure on RSF positions in Darfur.
