The five airdrops included two aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force, along with one each from the UAE, France, and Germany. Jordanian officials emphasized that the multinational operation reflects the deepening international consensus on the need for continuous aid to civilians in Gaza.
Members of the Jordanian Parliament’s National Guidance and Media Committee accompanied the flights to observe the delivery process. The lawmakers commended the professionalism of the Jordanian Armed Forces and highlighted King Abdullah II’s humanitarian leadership in rallying regional and international support for Gaza.
According to official figures, the latest operation raises the total number of Jordanian airdrops to 135, in addition to 279 others carried out jointly with allied nations.
These airlifts come amid a dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, where UN agencies and health authorities report worsening access to food, water, and medical care. Jordan has been a central player in regional relief logistics, using air corridors and field hospitals to mitigate the impact of months of Israeli military operations.
Officials reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to mobilizing continued international assistance and ensuring that humanitarian aid reaches civilians directly, even as security and logistical challenges persist.
