Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib announced that Tehran will soon unveil a large cache of sensitive Israeli documents allegedly tied to nuclear infrastructure and foreign relations, a revelation likely to inflame tensions in the region.

Speaking to state television, Khatib described the leaked materials as a “treasure trove” of intelligence concerning Israel’s nuclear facilities, U.S. and European relations, and defense strategy. “Talking of thousands of documents would be an understatement,” he said, noting that transferring them to Iran took significant time and security precautions.

Iranian state media reported that the documents were obtained by Iranian intelligence agencies, though it’s unclear if the breach is tied to the 2024 cyberattack on an Israeli nuclear research center.

Strategic Implications and Escalating Tensions

While Tehran did not disclose how or when the documents will be revealed, the move appears aimed at showcasing Iran’s intelligence reach and discrediting Israel’s regional position. The disclosure may also serve as leverage amid U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations, where uranium enrichment remains a core sticking point.

Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei recently rejected U.S. demands for Iran to abandon uranium enrichment, calling such expectations “100% against our interests.”

Israel Silent; U.S. Pressured to Respond

There has been no immediate response from Israeli officials. The release, if verified, would mirror Israel’s 2018 public unveiling of Iranian nuclear documents, which it claimed proved Tehran’s secret weapons ambitions.

The development comes amid reports that U.S. President Donald Trump blocked a planned Israeli strike on Iran in favor of reviving a nuclear deal—a decision now likely to face renewed scrutiny.
