“If someone had killed Hitler in 1935 it would have probably been better,” Graham said, adding that if Iran’s theocratic regime were to fall, “the day after has promise.” He warned that if it stays in place, “we’ll be haunted by this for generations to come,” and that the regime’s agenda poses long-term risks. Graham described Iran’s clerical leadership as religious fanatics committed to destructive goals and said there is “no negotiating” with such forces.

He also expressed strong empathy for Iranian protesters, noting they have been “shot down on the street like dogs” and emphasising that these are the people the U.S. should support.

Graham took aim at regional dynamics, urging leaders such as Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman and UAE’s Mohamed bin Zayed to reconsider policies that could inadvertently embolden Iran’s influence. He stressed the importance of strategic cooperation rather than ongoing conflicts that detract from addressing larger threats.
