A US F-15 fighter jet crashed in Kuwait as military tensions continue across the Middle East following the escalation involving the United States, Israel, and Iran on February 28. The aircraft went down during the morning hours, and the pilot managed to eject moments before impact.
Videos circulating online show the fighter jet losing control in the air after being hit near the tail section. The aircraft is seen spinning multiple times before bursting into flames and crashing into the ground.
Witnesses reported a loud explosion after impact, followed by heavy black smoke rising from the crash site.
The pilot used the ejection seat shortly before the crash and landed safely with a parachute.
Footage from the scene shows the pilot on the ground appearing conscious before being taken away from the area in the back of a pickup truck by locals.
No official statement has yet been released regarding the pilot’s identity.
Kuwait is one of the most important US military locations in the Gulf region, hosting bases used for air operations and logistics support.
