Marjorie Taylor Greene said the MAGA movement is “completely dead” after Republicans’ midterm defeat, blaming President Donald Trump: “Trump himself is the one that killed it.”

Greene made the remarks to ABC’s 7.30 in Washington after Democrats won control of the House and the Senate. She called the vote “a referendum on Donald Trump and Donald Trump only.”
Trump had told voters to “vote like I am on the ballot,” she said. “And the American people did.”
‘Trojan Horse’
Greene, once one of Trump’s loudest allies, fell out with him over her push to release the Epstein files. She said Trump was supposed to “drain the swamp” but “turned out to be the Trojan horse.”
She accused him of entertaining foreign leaders and tech CEOs while forgetting his rally crowds. Asked if the Trump era was over, she said: “Yes, of course. He’s now a lame duck.”
Iran, Israel and Vance
Greene said U.S. support for Israel was “a top issue whether people like it or not.” Trump himself has called it “largely true” that the Iran war cost Republicans.
She also said Vice President JD Vance’s silence on the Iran war “has been deafening.” His comments now come “a little bit too late,” she added.
What Comes Next
The losses included Texas, where Democrat James Talarico flipped the Senate seat. Greene said questions about a third party or a new Republican leader would take time to settle.
