“Ukraine Cannot Accept the So-Called Peace Plan”
Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Crimean Tatar National Assembly, commented on the so-called peace plan proposed to Ukraine in an interview with Clash Report.

Chubarov told Clash Report that it is impossible for Ukraine to accept the plan. He said, “This so-called peace plan essentially sets the conditions for Ukraine’s submission to aggressive Russia. It is clear that no one in Ukraine would ever accept such a plan.”
“Threat to the Crimean Tatars”
Chubarov explained, “Such a surrender condition would mean the destruction of both the Ukrainian state and the Crimean Tatar people.”
“The plan envisions Crimea remaining under Russian control and, as a result, Russia expelling the Crimean Tatar people from their homeland, Crimea. What was done during the Russian Empire and later under Stalin is now being carried out by Putin,” Chubarov said, stressing the historical threat the plan represents.
Regarding the position of the National Assembly, Chubarov added, “It is clear that all members of the Crimean Tatar nation will give no support to such a plan and will demand that no path be opened for it.”
“Acceptance Could Mean a Painful Fate for Crimean Tatars”
Chubarov warned that if the plan were implemented, the Crimean Tatars would face the risk of annihilation:
If such a plan were to be enacted, it is understood that the Crimean Peninsula would be painfully cleared of the Crimean Tatars. The crimes Russia has committed against our people over the past century would once again result in a tragic outcome under this plan.
Kyiv Rejects the Plan, but Discussions May Continue
Chubarov recalled Ukraine’s official position: “Ukraine does not accept this plan; however, we also hold the position that discussions around the plan may continue.”
“We have stated, as previously indicated by the United States, that we will not accept this plan but will work around it,” Chubarov added, noting that Russia has also clearly stated it will not accept the plan.
“If Support Is Cut, the War Will Become Harder”
Chubarov also highlighted the potential risks if the plan is rejected:
If this plan is not accepted and later U.S. and other support is cut, it will become very difficult for the Ukrainian state and Ukrainian soldiers to continue the fight against Russia. This situation will create significant concern and unease among our society and our nation.
