Türkiye Says Israel Violates Ceasefire, Blocks Aid to Gaza

The meeting brought together representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Qatar, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, focusing on ceasefire compliance, humanitarian access, and the future reconstruction of Gaza. Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also discussed the formation of an international stability force to secure post-war governance.

“Israel Violates the Ceasefire”

Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated, “Israel is violating the ceasefire and blocking humanitarian aid.”

He said assistance remains stalled in warehouses and border crossings, while nearly 250 Palestinians have been killed in recent weeks.

He condemned Israeli attempts to “sabotage the process with baseless pretexts” and called for a unified international stance to enforce the truce.

Humanitarian Access and Responsibility

Calling aid delays “unacceptable,” Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Fidan said, “The amount of humanitarian assistance entering Gaza is insufficient. Israel is not fulfilling its obligations.”

He emphasized that ensuring uninterrupted aid flow to civilians is both a moral and legal duty, and warned against a renewed “genocide” in Gaza.

“We do not want the massacres to restart; Türkiye is ready to do its part,” he added.

Hamas and Gaza Administration

Addressing Gaza’s political future, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Fidan revealed, “Hamas is ready to transfer Gaza’s authority to a committee composed of Palestinians.”

He reiterated Türkiye’s support for a two-state solution, saying, “The will shown by Palestinians must be recognized. The path to peace requires patience and determination.”

Reconstruction and International Stabilization Force

Discussing Gaza’s rebuilding, Fidan noted, “We evaluated Gaza’s reconstruction—concrete steps must be taken.” He added that work continues on a potential Gaza Task Force, whose composition will depend on participating nations.

“We are ready to shoulder responsibility for peace,” he said, confirming coordination with the U.S., Egypt, Qatar, and the Palestinian Authority on potential stabilization mechanisms.
