The integration of diverse armed groups into the national army is a cornerstone of Syria’s post-conflict recovery strategy, aimed at restoring centralized military control and reducing the influence of local militias. This move comes as Syria seeks to stabilize its internal security and rebuild state institutions after years of civil war.
