President Donald Trump says Iran will either make a deal or the United States will end the conflict.

The remark appears in a video posted by Clash Report on Nov. 1.

What Trump Said

“Iran will either make a deal, or we will end it,” Trump says in the clip.

The line echoes earlier remarks. On Oct. 26, Trump told Fox News he must decide whether to “finish it off” or “make a deal.”

The Japan Times reported it. On Oct. 28, he said at a Texas rally that the war ends “whenever I want it to,” per CNBC.

Where the Talks Stand

On Saturday, Trump told reporters at Mar-a-Lago that talks with Iran are “going fine.” He said Iran is “not very reliable.” He added that the U.S. still has “one or two sites” to hit, Fox News and RTÉ reported.

He named Pickaxe Mountain, a suspected underground nuclear site.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Saturday that Trump has not decided on new strikes. Indirect talks in Doha reached a third day on Sunday, Reuters reported. Iran’s foreign minister said a two-day plan could reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but no conclusion has been reached.

The Guardian reported that Qatar is trying to arrange the release of more than $6 billion in Iranian assets. It said Gulf officials are “braced for the worst.” The U.S. Navy has also blockaded Iranian ports for months, Fox News reported.

Midterms and Pressure

Axios reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Trump to strike right after Tuesday’s midterms. He did so on a Saturday call. Trump reportedly wants talks to play out for now. Clash Report covered the call.

Vice President JD Vance sent a letter last week to Iranian security chief Mohsen Rezaei about restarting negotiations, Axios said. The Atlantic reported that Trump is weighing renewed strikes and questioning allies about Hegseth and Caine.

Iran’s supreme leader has warned of an “immediate, impactful and geographically unrestricted response” to any new attack, per RTÉ. No U.S. decision on strikes has been announced.
