German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius criticized U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday for misjudging his ability to influence Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I suspect he assessed his negotiating position incorrectly,” Pistorius told Deutschlandfunk radio, reflecting growing concern among European leaders over Washington’s strategic effectiveness.
