New photographs released as part of the ongoing Epstein investigation in the US Congress have reignited long-running debates over Epstein’s connections. While Democrats argue the images shed light on the breadth of Epstein’s past associations, the disclosures have also triggered sharp political backlash and mutual accusations on Capitol Hill.

Trump Details and Controversial Objects

Among the released images is a photograph showing Donald Trump with six women, whose faces were redacted by committee members. Another widely discussed image depicts novelty condoms featuring a caricature of Trump’s face with the phrase “I’m HUUUUGE!” The items, displayed with a sign reading “Trump condom $4.50,” were described as political satire products manufactured by a New York-based shop called Fishs Eddy and are listed in the online collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Other Powerful Figures in the Same Archive

The photo set also includes an image of Steve Bannon and Epstein posing together in a mirror, a photograph of Bill Clinton with Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and another couple, and a picture showing Bill Gates alongside Prince Andrew. Former Harvard President Larry Summers and attorney Alan Dershowitz are also among the figures appearing in images recovered from Epstein’s properties.

After initially releasing 19 photographs, Democrats later made public an additional 70 images on the same day.

Images from Epstein-Owned Properties

Some of the newly released photographs offer different perspectives from Epstein’s private island. These include a room featuring wall-mounted masks and what appears to be a dentist-style chair, an image of Epstein in a bathtub filled with bubbles, and a close-up photograph of his face. Another image shows a man resembling Epstein holding James Patterson’s book Filthy Rich in front of his face.

The second batch also featured a carved pumpkin decoration with a wig and a sign reading “Trumpkin: Make Halloween Great Again,” as well as a close-up image of a device labeled the “GX-99 Message Therapy System.”

Clashing Statements from the Committee and the White House

While Democrats emphasized that the release of the photographs was aimed at transparency, White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson accused them of attempting to construct a false narrative through selective, cropped and context-free images. Jackson also pointed to several Democratic figures who had previously been linked to Epstein.

Meanwhile, Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, described the images as “significant,” noting that only about a quarter of the roughly 95,000 photographs handed over by the Epstein estate have been reviewed so far.

Legal Process and an Approaching Deadline

Under a new law spearheaded by Republicans, the US Department of Justice is required to release all Epstein-related files in its possession by December 19. Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, who pushed the legislation through Congress, warned that failure to meet the deadline would constitute a criminal offense.

Garcia, however, urged the administration not to wait until the final day, calling for the immediate release of all materials that can legally be made public and stressing that some unreleased photographs are “extremely disturbing.”

No Allegations, but Intense Scrutiny

It has been explicitly stated that none of the released photographs depict sexual misconduct or underage individuals. No criminal accusations have been brought against Trump, Clinton, Gates or the other figures shown based on these images. Nonetheless, many individuals associated with Epstein have faced reputational and professional consequences due to their past connections.

As the investigation continues, both the political tension in Congress and the public impact of future Epstein disclosures are expected to intensify further.
