The strikes, part of Operation HADIN KAI, focused on Boko Haram’s Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) faction, specifically the fortified hideouts of Wa Jahode and Loghpere near the Cameroon border. Military intelligence and surveillance had earlier confirmed increased terrorist activities and the presence of senior commanders in these zones.
ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) missions identified terrorist markers including black flags and solar-powered infrastructure before the Nigerian Air Force launched coordinated interdictions.
The targeted air raids eliminated terrorist command centres, logistics hubs, and fortified shelters. According to military sources, the strikes neutralised dozens of fighters and severely disrupted Boko Haram’s supply chains.
The Nigerian Air Force reiterated its ongoing commitment to sustained aerial offensives aimed at restoring peace to the North-East and ensuring the safety of affected communities.
