Jordan Kills 2 Armed Men Trying To Cross From Syria

Jordanian and Syrian authorities have pledged to increase joint surveillance and intelligence-sharing to curb illegal border movements. Recent weeks have seen renewed efforts to secure key infiltration points and dismantle manufacturing infrastructure tied to cross-border narcotics.

Jordanian officials reiterated their commitment to securing the kingdom’s borders against any threats stemming from the instability in southern Syria. The army affirmed that any further attempts to cross illegally would be met with a firm military response.
