Israel Controls US Politics: Tucker Carlson Slams AIPAC Donations

Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has publicly charged that Israel maintains control over the American political system through pervasive campaign financing and lobbying efforts.

The prominent television figure identified the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) as the primary mechanism for this influence.

He alleged that overwhelming bipartisan consensus in Washington is driven by loyalty to a foreign state rather than domestic interests.

According to Carlson, the push for regime change in Iran by both major political factions stems directly from their financial reliance on the same donor base.

He noted that an estimated 90 percent of the U.S. Congress receives funding from what he termed an unregistered foreign lobby.

Foreign Policy Directives

“Both parties supported regime change in Iran because both parties have the same paymasters and the same donors who are demanding loyalty to a foreign country,” Carlson stated.

The commentator linked this financial influence to broader geopolitical decisions, specifically Washington’s alignment with Israel during recent escalations in the Middle East.

He argued that the U.S. administration actively followed Israeli directives into a conflict that fundamentally damages American interests.

Addressing the ongoing war, Carlson asserted that the high casualty figures in Gaza objectively constitute genocide.

He dismissed accusations that his critiques stem from antisemitism, characterizing such labels as intimidation tactics designed to stifle debate regarding foreign interference in U.S. governance.

Qatari Denial and Netanyahu Allegations

Responding to criticisms over his own potential foreign ties, Carlson categorically denied receiving any financial compensation, loans, or investments from the Qatari government.

He maintained complete financial independence, emphasizing his lack of debt or property ownership in Doha.

Carlson also leveled accusations at the Israeli leadership regarding the financing of Palestinian factions.

He claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously requested the Qatari government to funnel funds directly to Hamas.

The commentator highlighted the irony of current rhetoric targeting Doha for its alleged ties to the militant group, given the previous requests from the Israeli premier.

Pushback Against Intimidation

“Israel controls our politics through campaign donations at least,” Carlson remarked, rejecting efforts to dismiss his observations as bigoted.

He stressed that questioning the financial relationship between U.S. lawmakers and pro-Israel organizations is a matter of national sovereignty.

“Now, this is not an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory,” Carlson said. “My whole life I've watched this. My whole life I've said nothing about it.”

He noted that he was intimidated by the claim that anyone who notices it is an anti-Semite.

He compared the current lobbying landscape to a hypothetical scenario in which nations like Congo or Liechtenstein bankrolled the vast majority of the American legislature.

“Doesn't make me anti-Congolese or anti-Liechtensteinian. I'm not a racist for thinking that,” he concluded. “It's literally that simple.”
