Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Killed
U.S. President Donald Trump had stated, “Khamenei, one of the worst people in history, is dead.” Iranian state television confirmed that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had been killed.
Iran’s state TV announced that Ali Khamenei had died, using the phrase, “The leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has reached martyrdom.”
The Iranian government also declared 40 days of national mourning and 7 days of official holiday following Khamenei’s death.
His daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and grandson also killed
It was announced that in the joint attacks carried out by the United States and Israel, Iranian leader Ali Khamenei’s daughter, son-in-law, grandson and daughter-in-law were also killed.
According to a report by Fars News Agency, which is close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, citing a source with knowledge from Khamenei’s office, it was confirmed that some of his family members died in the U.S.–Israel attacks.
It was reported that in the U.S.–Israel strike on the area where the Iranian leader’s house and office were located, Khamenei’s daughter, son-in-law, grandson, and one of his daughters-in-law lost their lives.
