"Our Finger Is On The Trigger"
Iranian Army Chief General Hatami said the country’s armed forces are on full alert amid the possibility of a conflict with the United States, warning that any attack on Iran would have serious and far-reaching consequences.

As tensions between Iran and the United States continue to rise, Iran’s military leadership has issued strong warnings regarding potential threats to the country’s security.
“Our Finger Is On The Trigger”
Speaking at the Iranian Army Chief General Hatami assessed regional developments and security threats facing the country. Emphasizing that the Iranian army remains fully prepared to defend the nation. “If the enemy makes a mistake, without a doubt it will endanger its own security, the security of the region, and the security of the Zionist regime,” Hatami said, according to the official IRNA news agency.” Hatami said, adding that “our finger is on the trigger.”
Missile and air defense capabilities highlighted
Hatami also underscored advances in Iran’s military capabilities, pointing to significant improvements since past conflicts. “Today, without a doubt, our missile power, air defense power, and other dimensions of our defensive capability are in a stronger and more advanced position than they were before the 12-day imposed war,” he said, signaling confidence in Iran’s current military readiness.
Warning Of Severe Consequences
Hatami warned that any attempt to attack Iran would lead to serious consequences, stressing that such an action would not be limited in its impact. He said a military strike against Iran would endanger not only the aggressor but the broader region as well.
Praise For Neighboring Nountries
Hatami noted that neighboring countries have indicated they would not allow their land or airspace to be used for an attack on Iran. He welcomed this stance, calling it “highly commendable,” and added that regional states are aware that any move against Iran would drag the entire region into instability.
“Iran Does Not Seek War”
Stressing that Iran has no intention of attacking any country, Hatami warned that threatening a large and deeply rooted state like Iran would lead to irreparable consequences. He said Iran’s commanders, seasoned by years of combat experience, are ready to respond to any threat. “If the enemy truly wants to resolve issues, it must approach the Iranian people with respect,” Hatami said.
