Tucker Carlson Alleges Mossad Agents Were Caught Plotting to Bomb Saudi & Qatar

Conservative U.S. political commentator Tucker Carlson has alleged that Saudi Arabia and Qatar arrested Israeli Mossad agents planning bombings, claiming Israel is deliberately destabilizing Gulf states as U.S.-Israeli military operations against Iran expand and regional energy infrastructure comes under strain.

On his show Monday, Carlson said that authorities in Saudi Arabia and Qatar had arrested “Israeli Mossad agents planning on committing bombings in those countries.” He added: “Why would the Israelis be committing bombings in two gulf countries, which are also being attacked by Iran? Aren’t they on the same side? No. No. No.”

Carlson argued that Israel seeks to weaken not only Iran but also members of the Gulf Cooperation Council - Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia - describing them as strategic obstacles. “Israel wants to hurt Iran and Qatar, and UAE, and Saudi, and Bahrain, and Oman, and Kuwait,” he said.

He framed the six-nation bloc as a potential counterweight, stating: “There are two speed bumps on the way to regional dominance for Israel. The first is something called the GCC.” If those states formed “a real military alliance,” he said, “they would be a massive threat to Israel.”

Carlson’s remarks came as energy markets reacted to intensifying hostilities. On Monday, an alleged Iranian drone attack caused what Saudi authorities described as a “limited fire” at Aramco’s refinery in Ras Tanura. European gas prices rose almost 50 percent after Iranian strikes and subsequent closures disrupted oil refining and liquefied natural gas production.

Carlson suggested that the Aramco fire might not have been caused by Iran. “The Iranians said they didn’t do it. Why would they say they didn’t do it? It’s possible Israel did it,” he said.

Insurance providers have canceled war-risk coverage for ships in the Persian Gulf, compounding shipping uncertainty.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had targeted more than 500 U.S. and Israeli sites using 700 drones and hundreds of missiles since Saturday.

U.S. President Donald Trump said 48 leaders had been killed in the campaign, while Iranian authorities confirmed several senior casualties, including Mohammad Pakpour, Ali Shamkhani and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh.

France, Germany and the United Kingdom said Sunday they stood ready to take “defensive action” to protect their interests and Gulf allies. Meanwhile, Trump warned that a “big wave” of operations is yet to come.

Carlson’s intervention adds a domestic U.S. political dimension to the widening conflict. Earlier this year, he was detained by Israeli security officials after interviewing Ambassador Mike Huckabee.

In 2025, after visiting Palestinian refugees in Qatar and accusing Israel of killing children, a U.S. advocacy group named him its “Antisemite of the Year.”
