The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office confirmed the advisory places the UAE under a Level 3 travel warning—meaning citizens are urged to avoid non-essential travel. Authorities recommended vigilance in public spaces and reporting any suspicious behavior to Emirati security forces.
“Past experience shows that terrorist organizations often focus their efforts on countries adjacent to them,” the statement added, pointing to the region's volatile security environment.
The updated travel guidance reflects a growing concern within Israel’s security establishment about potential spillover threats targeting its nationals abroad. With tensions high across the Middle East, and Iranian-aligned factions stepping up their rhetoric and activity, Israel’s intelligence services are reportedly tracking increased chatter related to potential external attacks.
The advisory comes amid broader regional instability, including Israeli military actions in Lebanon and sustained hostilities in Gaza, all of which contribute to a heightened threat environment for Israeli travelers in the Gulf.
