According to Syria’s official news agency SANA, three Israeli military vehicles illegally entered Muallaka village in Quneitra. The report added that Israeli forces established a road checkpoint and restricted civilian passage.

Ground raid in Quneitra

Syrian state media reported that Israeli troops entered Muallaka in western Quneitra early in the morning, setting up a military checkpoint. Local sources said that the Israeli forces completely blocked entry and exit to the village and did not allow civilians to pass.

Airspace violations

SANA also reported that Israeli reconnaissance aircraft conducted flights over southern Quneitra, violating Syrian airspace. These air operations were reportedly synchronized with recent increases in Israeli ground raids, raising tension along the border.

Shara: Over 1,000 airstrikes

Syrian President Ahmed Shara stated last month that between December 8, 2024, and September 18, 2025, Israel carried out over 1,000 airstrikes and more than 400 ground attacks in Syria. Shara emphasized that these actions systematically violated Syrian sovereignty and called on the international community to respond.

Rising tension along the border

The latest raid marks another episode in the ongoing Israeli operations in Syrian territory. Analysts note that the Quneitra line remains one of the most sensitive border areas between Israel and Syria, with escalating risks for both civilians and military forces.
