The navy gains 14 additional commands, and the air force adds three. Prabowo has also backed legal reforms allowing more active-duty officers to serve in civilian posts and appointed retired officers to head state enterprises, extending the armed forces’ influence into non-military programs such as his flagship free meals initiative.
