Ukraine unleashed an unprecedented barrage of 620 drones against Moscow and its surrounding territories early Tuesday, striking the central logistics complex of Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries.
Russian air defense systems intercepted 180 incoming drones across the capital region between Monday evening and 5:00 a.m. local time.
The massive infiltration forced a brief suspension of civilian air traffic around Moscow.
Regional governor Andrei Vorobyov confirmed the strikes wounded at least three civilians, including a 10-year-old girl.
Emergency response teams immediately deployed to clear debris from multiple crash sites.
Wildberries Hit Again
The aerial assault successfully penetrated defensive perimeters to hit a major Wildberries warehouse. The e-commerce corporation has repeatedly faced Ukrainian targeting since the outbreak of full-scale hostilities.
Corporate representatives issued a brief statement acknowledging the incident. They noted a "logistics complex" had suffered "minor damage" after drone fragments collided with the exterior structure.
Broader Regional Escalation
The overnight offensive extended far beyond the immediate Moscow perimeter. Krymenergo, the primary energy provider in Russian-annexed Crimea, reported severe infrastructure disruptions across southern districts.
Multiple settlements across the peninsula lost access to electricity. Grid operators described power delivery operations in the northwestern, eastern, and southern sectors as highly challenging.
Simultaneous operations occurred across the Ukrainian border. Russian rocket fire targeted the northeastern Kharkiv region, striking the settlement of Pechenihy.
The localized Russian strike killed at least 10 individuals and wounded eight others. Civilian infrastructure, including a post office and residential structures, sustained heavy damage.
Military data indicate an accelerating operational tempo from both combatants. The Ukrainian Air Force recorded 147 Russian drones launched during the same overnight window, successfully intercepting 111.
