Speaking on a special television program, Maduro addressed Washington’s potential military threats. He expressed gratitude to all who have boldly supported Venezuela, noting that despite months of psychological and political warfare, the country continues to receive overwhelming messages of solidarity.

“No matter what they do or how they do it, they will never take Venezuela. We are invincible. They have failed so far, and they will fail again,” Maduro asserted. He also highlighted that public support for his leadership stands at around 70%, and that calls from the opposition for foreign intervention are being rejected.

Economic Independence and Strong Production

Maduro outlined steps taken to reduce Venezuela’s dependence on oil and strengthen its domestic economy. The government has increased production across 13 strategic sectors with the aim of transforming the nation into a higher-export capacity economy.

“We are building a self-sufficient production capacity. This will both supply the domestic market and ensure the stability of private sector and local community economies,” Maduro said. He stressed that security remains a top priority and that the Venezuelan people themselves are the greatest guarantee of safety.

“Humility will make us strong; our people are advancing in the defense of truth,” he added.

Response to U.S. Designation of Cartel de los Soles

The U.S. recently placed Maduro and top Venezuelan officials’ alleged criminal organization, “Cartel de los Soles,” on the Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) list. Venezuela condemned this move, calling it an attempt to justify intervention.

The U.S., citing “drug trafficking enforcement,” deployed the USS Gerald R. Ford, the world’s largest aircraft carrier, along with its strike group to the Latin America region.

In response, Maduro announced the mobilization of 4.5 million militia members across the country, declaring that Venezuela is ready to repel any attack.
