Officials from humanitarian organizations and charities, as well as Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirates Red Crescent, welcomed the ship upon arrival at Al-Arish. The cargo is scheduled for transfer into Gaza via coordination with Egyptian authorities. The UAE emphasized that this shipment is part of its enduring commitment to supporting the Palestinian people, particularly amid worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.
The UAE’s total aid sent to Gaza has now exceeded 80,000 tons. The latest shipment includes critical items needed for health care and shelter as displacement and infrastructure destruction in the Strip continue. Officials highlighted that the operation aligns with Abu Dhabi’s long-standing humanitarian policy and efforts to alleviate crises across the region.
Launched in response to the humanitarian fallout from the Gaza conflict, “Gallant Knight 3” is the UAE’s coordinated effort to provide emergency relief through air, sea, and land routes. The campaign reflects the Emirates’ broader diplomatic posture of using humanitarian aid as a stabilizing instrument in conflict zones.
The vessel departed from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi’s KIZAD zone, marking a continuing logistical commitment to aid delivery amid restricted access into Gaza. The Emirates Red Crescent has played a central role in coordinating and facilitating these deliveries, including packaging and distribution plans upon entry into Gaza.
