Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it had carried out its “most intense and heaviest operation” since the start of the ongoing conflict. According to state media, the overnight operation involved missile strikes, including the long-range Khorramshahr missile, targeting Israel and U.S. assets in the region.
“We will continue our sustained attacks with purpose and strength, and in the continuation of this war we think only of the enemy’s complete surrender,” the IRGC said, adding that “The war will end only when the shadow of war is removed from our country.”
The operation represents Tehran’s most significant military action since the conflict escalated, signaling an intensification of hostilities across the region.
At a Pentagon briefing on Tuesday, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the United States will not relent until “the enemy is totally and decisively defeated,” emphasizing that military action will continue according to U.S. timelines.
Sirens were reported in central Israel on Wednesday morning after the Israel Defense Forces warned of Iranian missile launches. No casualties or injuries were reported. ,
